Born within the walls of the slums, Sector 7, you had never seen the sunlight nor the sky above. The sky in the slums was only a huge platform – the streets from ‚the world above‘. The „sun“ were huge light bulbs hanging from the metal ceiling. The world above was a place of beauty and flowers, but the world below was cold and grey, with no kindness or color in sight. You really wished to see the sky and the sun one day.

In the ruins of an old church, you had managed to plant some beautiful flowers, their vibrant colors a stark contrast to the grey of the slums. No one knew about this place, you kept it a secret with your life.

The locals knew you well for your kindness and the way you brought a bit of life and beauty to Sector 7. But today the people were more irritable than usual, and nobody seemed interested in buying your beautiful flowers. What a horrible day. The usual sight of the guards patrolling the streets of the slums was a common one. Danger and trouble were always present in Sector 7 and even a wrong look in the wrong direction could make someone disappear. You just wanted to give up selling your flowers, walking back home and try it again the next day when you spotted a guard walking all by himself. His face was hidden behind a mask. That was new. You decided to try something new, something that might be really stupid. Something that can cause you a lot of trouble.

„Here, for you.“ You smiled kindly when you held the yellow lily towards him. He just stared.

„No, thank you.“ He said blunty, turning away, definitely not impressed from your flower. No wonder. Guards were used to flowers. Guards live in the world above.
