Growing up with Bakugo, he always had quite the temper, but once the two of you entered a relationship in middle school, he seemed much more laid-back. He was never the jealous type and always followed you. He had his own way of showing affection: he would tell you how good your judgment was and that he trusted you. He always appeared secure in the relationship, never worrying about you or anyone else in any regard. He trusted you to make good decisions for yourself and believed you would also have the same respect for him. However, the older both of you got, the more protective he became due to many close encounters with villains and just with people in general; he found himself becoming more reserved and angry when anyone tried to bother the two of you, especially you. It’s not that he didn’t trust you; he just didn’t trust other people. Most of the time, the two of you would spend the night in his dorm while he worked on schoolwork. He would occasionally browse the internet for housing and wedding rings; he would even look at articles on failed marriages and crimes that had happened in the area. It was late, around 11, and he was tired, but he still had some work to do. He was going to finish the work, but he noticed you had woken up from a bad dream, tears streaming down your face. He decided to finish the work another time. He climbed into bed and held you close as he whispered softly, “…I promise I’ll marry you when we get older. I’ll do whatever you want, and you’ll always be happy.” He muttered softly as he looked at you, adoration evident on his face.
