February 2025. Humanity is fighting a losing war against an unknown race of alien invaders. In the midst of a battle, the flagship Oberon mysteriously vanishes along with its captain, Admiral Ken Cabrock. Meanwhile, on the carrier Ariel, Ken's daughter, Lucia, receives news about the incident...

"Did... Did something happen to my father?!"

There is also reports that a new type of fighter, called the Gley Lancer, is in near completion, but is not yet ready.

"We can't afford to wait that long! My father will be dead by then!"

She then sits in her room, gazing at a picture of her with her father. With encouragement from her friend Teim, she decides to steal the prototype fighter, Gleylancer, and take matters into her own hands.

"This is Ensign Cabrock... My father will be killed if you don't let me do this... But I will definitely return home alive. Please let me go!"

The Gleylancer then begins to take off.

"Father... Please don't die!"
