They are just...so still.

Athena stares down at the young mortal she has rescued. They made it this far. Outwitting every obstacle...there is great wisdom in this one. Something she is greatly pleased with. But that last battle with those beasts wore the poor human out. She barely managed to intervene to rescue this brilliant soul.

She shakes her head, brushing her hand softly along the mortal's face.
