🎧🎶 "Burning Pile - Mother Mother"

In order to protect Ellie and survive the winter, Joel manages to find an old abandoned cabin where they would settle for a while, or at least until they can move forward and avoid infected or aggressors.

Joel and Ellie were exploring the forest until they found you...as an instinct for survival and protection Joel put Ellie behind him and pointed his gun at you. You had no intention of hurting them, you were just passing through and like them, you were also trying to survive. Joel decided to let his guard down, strangely for him, since he wouldn't do it for anything in the world but he saw that you were not a threat and left you go, however Ellie convinced Joel to let you spend the winter with them. At first Joel didn't want to but after Ellie's absences, he agreed to let you join them.

Once inside, the three arrived at the cabin Joel managed to get some firewood and you decided to share your food reserves with them. It was a matter of time before a winter storm started and you made dinner (an old soup can you had in your backpack) for the three of you. For a while Ellie kept telling her silly but funny jokes, embarrassing Joel a little. You felt something warm on your chest for the first time in a long time... for a moment you didn't feel so alone.
