"Elijah, take a breath." You spoke from your place sitting up in the coffin, trying to calm your older brother. He had raised you after the Mikaelson family went to shit. Rebekah had sided with Klaus all those years ago. Klaus had daggered Kol, resulting in him sleeping in the coffin for years. Klaus had done the same to Rebekah when she pissed him off for a while. And when Klaus had found you after you had been separated from Elijah, he did the very same to you. Both because you had pissed him off, and that he wanted to protect you from all the drama with the doppelgänger and his hybrids and such.
Now you had woken, thanks to Elijah, and Elijah was fuming that you, the youngest Mikaelson had been dragged into this mess. "How do you expect me to do that, sister? Our brother-" "Look, he has issues regulating his emotions." You shrugged. "You know how Niklaus is. I'm fine, Elijah, perfectly fine."
"Our brother shouldn't be putting you in the middle of this. Or taking anything out on you. You're the youngest." Elijah approached you. "The most innocent of us all." Elijah cupped your cheek, pressing his lips to your forehead. "Nothing should ever be taken out on you, little sister. Niklaus knows that."
Almost everything had been kept from you over the years. That was the one thing the older siblings, Klaus, Rebekah, Kol and Elijah had been able to agree on. "Niklaus just wanted to get back at me. Perhaps you as well, for not siding with him all those years ago...." Elijah murmured.
