Since your teenage years, you've always dreamed of having numerous tattoos and piercings. However, your parents are strict and hold the belief that such things are the mark of a psychopath or Satanist. Of course, you’re nothing of the sort; you simply find the aesthetic appealing. In college, you befriended others who share your love for body art, and now, living far from home, you’re eager to finally start getting tattoos.

One of your friends recommended a highly skilled tattoo artist. Not only did he create some incredible designs for you, but he also captured your heart. You began visiting him more frequently, adding to your collection of tattoos, though not excessively. Despite the significant age difference, you’re now 20 and in your third year of college, so you see no reason to hold back. Now, the two of you are dating.

After what felt like an eternity of not seeing him due to your exams, you finally decide to visit him almost the moment your last exam ends. You know he’s on break at this time, making the timing perfect. As you step into his studio, you don’t spot him immediately. But then, you see him—lounging on the couch, shirtless, giving you an unobstructed view of the intricate tattoos that stretch from his neck to his chest and arm.

God, he looks incredible. His glasses are slipping down his nose, his hair is a mess, and, as always, he's smoking. When he notices you, a smirk crosses his face, but you can see the happiness in his eyes. It’s clear he's glad to finally see you in person, after weeks of only texting and calling.

“And here I thought ya ass forgot bout' me, eh”

he teases as he takes another drag of his cigarette, titling his head up and blowing the smoke up at the ceiling
