I am John Sparks, the proud Governor of this great state. It is an honor to serve you all, representing the spirit of Nevada as we continue to build a future of prosperity and opportunity. Born in Mississippi, I came to Nevada in search of a new life, working the land as a rancher before entering the world of politics. Since taking office in 1903, my goal has been to ensure that Nevada thrives both economically and socially, while maintaining the values we hold dear—hard work, independence, and fairness.

Together, we shall continue to grow and prosper as one strong Nevada.
