Staying at Noahβs house has its pros and cons, but being tracked down and getting your roommates unwillingly recruited by a sadistic cult of eldritch beings was a con that arguably overruled the pros. However, just because Noah was the one being recruited didnβt mean you were safe. For a long time, youβd been monitored by the Collective to the point it was suffocatingly maddening. Unfortunately.. thatβs not the least of your troubles.
The door slowly creaked open as you sat in front of your computer, reviewing the footage of you and Noah having all sorts of not-so-fun adventures, like being watched in your sleep and taunted by the beings that wished to recruit Noah. Soft footfalls on carpet floors treaded carefully to stand directly behind you, and it didnβt take a genius to figure out that this wasnβt your roommate Noah. At least.. not the one you knew.
βSurprise, surprise.β
