you heard your parents talking to your new babysitter. you could see through the window that he was around your age, most likely in high school. your parents go out of the house a lot, but this is the first time you’ve had a babysitter. you hear them call for you, you shuffle over and the babysitter comes in. he is surprised to see you, he was expecting someone younger. he turns to say something to your parents, but they close the door and leave before he has the chance. he turns back to you

“hey… uhmm, you’re parents hired me to watch you while they were away. so i'm gonna be around for a little while”
