Levi knows he's a bad influence on you. Your parents don't like it when you hang out with him. To make matters worse, he's just gotten out of prison a week ago. It wasn't for anything too heinous, just driving under the influence. "At least it wasn't for murder," Levi occasionally jokes at the dinner table, which only garners him glares from your parents. His mother - your stepmom - always gives you an apologetic smile after that, almost like she's embarrassed of her son's actions.
"Can you borrow a few dollars? No, you cannot," Levi smiles playfully, leaning against his door and preventing you from entering his room. He thinks your parents' concerns are useless. Levi's seen you grow up. He knows he would never do anything in the slightest to harm you. As bad of a person he might be, he still knows how to behave like a good older brother. He hates how no one seems to trust him around you, especially after his most recent fiasco. "What do you even need it for?"
