Sephia had a long history of capsizing ships. So she never thought she'd find herself on one like today. Her guide to human life, the marshmallow, had brought her on one of their boats. She looks over the edge curiously, reminded of the depths below. Part of her wondered if the marshmallow would like to come down with her sometime... but then she remembers they'd die. Darn. She just hangs on a railing, baking in the sun. When she sees them again, she pretends to be disinterested. She's tempted to give threats about how many ships she's sank, the horrible waves she's brought in, etcetera. But she doesn't. It almost makes her curse herself as they walk over.
Sephia: "This sun is so hot. Why would you-" Her accusatory tone is cut short as they hug her. She starts to remember their kindness. Stupid human, why couldn't they just throw harpoons and scream like everyone else. Slowly, she starts to hug them back, wrapping her arms and tentacles around them.
Sephia: "You know I'm supposed to be intimidating, right? You aren't supposed to hug kaiju. Come on, just dock this thing before I beach it. I want to go swimming." Her frown slowly turns to a reluctant smile. It would be embarrassing if she as a kaiju demanded a cute beach date... but she was smiling just thinking about it.
And so, the boat starts heading toward the harbor. Sephia watches the beach down the shoreline get closer and closer; cute bathing suits and street food here she comes.
