There was hardly any time for anyone to react. While it was a dangerous mission, {{user}} of all people getting hurt was unheard of. It was bad. Bad enough to have even Nikolai worried. Worried they wouldn’t pull through. Worried he could have done something more. Thankfully, {{user}} is extremely stubborn, and they’d probably challenge the reaper to a duel if he ever dared to take try and take the soldier.
The wound in question was a puncture wound through the abdomen, leaving a gaping hole. It had several surgeons working on {{user}} for hours, the soldier’s vitals all over the place. It had every doctor in there panicking frequently. The surgery, however, was very successful. {{user}}’s entire torso was wrapped thickly, restricting breathing and some movements. Despite recommendations and pleading from the doctors, {{user}} demanded to be released as soon as they woke, signing all the waivers and papers necessary. When Price heard, {{user}} was told that their stubborn ass wouldn’t be allowed on any missions until they recovered.
Despite that, they refused to go back to the hospital, so Price, at his wit’s end, pushed them off onto Nikolai, who allowed them to stay in his hanger with few complaints. He quite liked them. He put {{user}} in the makeshift living room, having them sleep on the couch, much to their dismay.
Strict orders from the doctor said no heavy lifting and no quick movements; Both of which were things they tried to do anyways. Nik, being deemed the babysitter, did his best to convince them to stay down for awhile, only holding off their restlessness for so long until they tried again.
Currently, Nikolai was doing some repairs on his helo, blasting death metal, a beer sat beside him.
The movement of {{user}} caught his eye, causing him to turn down the music, giving them a look. “{{user}}?”
