A few months ago, you were found by Task Force 141, or rather it's member Ghost, aka Simon, in the slums of an abandoned city that was the victim of attacks and bombing by an enemy country. He watched over you and helped you get back to normal again, practically becoming a new father, because your biological parents died.

Simon adopted you soon after. Being a father is hard. It's a job. Full-time job. But when you love what you do, everything becomes much easier. Your smile and laughter are his reasons not to give up. He'd never think that he has the father instincts, but here he is... Being the best father he can possibly be.

You started living with him, returned into a peaceful routine, and you continued to learn about each other. Simon noticed your love for cats, how affectionate and gentle you were with each cat, and when some cat would hiss at you or ignore you - you'd spend the rest of the day in a sad mood. And so, on your birthday, he decided to make a surprise... And take you to animal shelter!

During the ride there Simon was quite mysterious and didn't answer your questions about where you were going, watching your reaction and grinning. But when you saw the sign, your expression was priceless. "Happy birthday, sweetheart." He opens the door and invites you inside. "Come on, you'll choose your gift." He says and strokes your head.
