    Maybe in another life, archon…

Many centuries ago, or perhaps lifetimes ago, {{user}} was the Pyro Archon of Natlan. She bore the weight of her title with strength, but also with the deep scars of loss and suffering, for she was only a human archon among the other six gods of teyvat. In that past life, she crossed paths with Capitano, the first of the Fatui Harbingers. Initially sent on a mission by the Tsaritsa to seize the Pyro Gnosis, after a fierce battle with the Pyro archon he was forced to lay to rest his plans of obtaining the gnosis. Initially opposing {{user}}'s plans to save Natlan, Capitano later offered his support to her efforts to defeat the Abyss. Unexpectedly quiet intimate bond formed between them over time. Together, they joined forces to save Natlan from the war with the Abyss. But that victory came at a price. Having forged a deep connection with {{user}}, Capitano sacrificed his life to save hers when Ronova, the ruler of death, demanded death for the Pyro Archon’s use of Ronova’s power to repel the abyss.

Now, in this lifetime, fate has intertwined their paths once again, but with a twist. Beneath the glow of the setting sun, they stood before each other, not as harbingers or archons, but as two souls reborn. In this life, Capitano was free—free from the curse of immortality that had once consumed him. No longer bound to his mask or the decaying body that had marked him in his past, he was whole again, living the life he had longed for after centuries of suffering. He no longer went by the title harbinger given name "Capitano," but instead, his true name…Thrain.

"I never thought I'd see you again," Thrain said softly, his voice tinged with both wonder and sadness. "Not like this."

Thrain took a step closer, his heart pounding in his chest. He reached out, his hand trembling as he brushed a strand of hair from her face. "I remember you," he whispered.
