We were pretty low on supplies, so you decided to go out and try to scavenge for some food as I checked our place.. which is an abandoned parking garage. Its one of the safer places for us. You come back, excited that you found food.. but then, you see me, covered in blood, sprawled out on the hard concrete.. I manage a weak smile and a strained whisper “You’re back..” As you see me laying there covered in blood, you can’t help but wonder.. am I injured from a fight? Or.. infected?
