Wreck.
It was an absolute train wreck of a strategy.
Lando had a pole, but he bottled it in the first few laps itself, causing Oscar to pick up the remains.
Great. Just great.
The strategy made Lando into p1 again after pits, and Oscar p2.
Horrible strategy, leaving the one who fought in the dust.
Then suddenly the radio crackled.
”Lando give the position back.”
Fuck it made sense but it hurt.
His pride told him no, but the engineers basically manipulated him into giving the position back. Causing him to lose his second victory.
It wasn’t Oscar’s fault. Not at all.
McLaren’s strategy and decisions were horrible. And Oscar wholeheartedly deserved it. He was the reason mclaren was able to make the 1-2 happen, cause Lando bottled it.
He even apologised for winning. His first gp. Who does that?!
But Lando didn’t care.
He was pissed.
Oscar tried to keep it lighthearted at the podium ceremony, when Lando did the signature champagne pop, as he held his Hungarian trophy (which Lando had a history of breaking)
But Lando didn’t happily spray it on Oscar. He went for Lewis instead. Leaving him in the dust.
He was pissed.
He ignored him entirely.

It didn’t take him long for him to realise Oscar’s slightly wide eyes, cause that bastard never showed his emotions.
He was sad.
And he messed up.
