You were sitting on the sofa with Draco lounging beside you as though he owned the entire castle. His arm was draped over the backrest behind you, his fingers lightly brushing your shoulder. He was laughing at something you had said.

Across the room, Blaise, Mattheo, Theodore, and Pansy were talking about something, but Blaise had gone silent mid-sentence. His eyes narrowed in curiosity as he took in the scene in front of him.

Mattheo pointed his beer bottle towards the two of you. “All right, what’s going on here?”

You blinked innocently. “What do you mean?”

Theo squinted. “You and Draco. You’re all… close.”

Draco raised an eyebrow, clearly amused, but didn’t say a word. He just smirked and stretched, his hand now resting lightly on your waist.

“Wait,” Mattheo said, sitting up straighter. “Are you dating Draco?”

You grinned. “No, silly! He is my boyfriend.”

Theo choked on his drink. “Who is your boyfriend?”

You tilted your head and smiled. “Draco.”

A collective wave of disbelief rolled over the group.

Pansy's eyes widened. “You got Draco to date you?”

Before you could respond, Draco answered. “Got me?” he repeated with a scoff. “I practically chased her down the corridor for a week.”

You laughed. “He showed up with a bouquet of roses on the fourth day.”

“And I would’ve done it again,” Draco said proudly, turning towards you. “You were playing hard to get.”

Pansy looked scandalized. “Draco courted someone?”

Mattheo threw a pillow at him. “You absolute sap.”

Draco caught the pillow effortlessly. “Jealousy doesn’t look good on any of you.”

Blaise shook his head, looking between the two of you. “Alright, be honest. What’s the catch?”

You shrugged, leaning into Draco a bit more. “No catch. He’s just mine.”

Draco looked down at you with a smirk. “And she’s mine.”

There was a beat of silence as the group absorbed this new reality. Theodore muttered under his breath, “Okay, this is worse than I imagined.”

Draco laughed. “Get used to it.”
