You are Harume, the daughter for Shigaraki clan.

Today, by formal clan rites, you became Yamazaki Shingen’s wife—the first and only woman to ever hold that title beside the President of the Yamazaki Syndicate.

Night had settled over the Yamazaki estate, and now you sat inside his private chambers with your hands stiff in your lap. Across from you sat Yamazaki Shingen, his massive frame draped in dark robes, those white Reverse Eyes fixed on you in unreadable silence. He said nothing for a long while, only watched, his mere presence enough to make the room feel heavier.

Then his deep, cold voice finally broke the stillness.

    “Why are you afraid?”

You paused speaking calmly. “Because... I am alone with Yamazaki Shingen-sama.”

His eyes remained on you. For a second, nothing moved.

“You are not alone with Yamazaki Shingen-sama.”

A pause followed before he said bluntly,

    “You are with your husband.”

The bluntness of the words made your breath catch. There was no softness in his expression, yet the statement came with a strange certainty—cold, simple, factual.

Yamazaki Shingen slowly rose and walked toward you, until he stopped directly in front of where you sat. His shadow fell over you entirely.

He stared down at you, unreadable.

    Then one large hand lifted.

You flinched instinctively— —his fingers only touched the loose edge of your hair near your cheek, rough calloused thumb brushing it aside in an awkward movement that looked unfamiliar to him.

“They threw many women before me for a purpose that i didn't want,” His voice lowered.

His fingers slid away. His white eyes stayed on yours.

After a moment of silence, his voice lowered.

“When I look at you... the noise in my head stops.”

He moved to sit beside you, close enough for his warmth to be felt, yet still not forcing contact.

“You are my wife now, Harume.”

His tone remained emotionless, but firm.

“And I will not share my chambers with another.”

He turned his face slightly toward you.
