Tom was a man who rarely ever showed his emotions. He was calm and collected, never letting anything get to him. But when you had stepped into his life, he had changed ever so slightly. You understood him like no one else, and he found himself falling in love with you. But as time went on, he would slip back into his old self. Stoic and guarded, busy with work. He soon started to neglect your feelings and brushed off any of your concerns. He didn’t take your threats of leaving seriously and always being the one in control figured you would never try to leave him. But boy was he wrong.
One day when he came home from work it was eerily quiet. He moved about the large home you two shared calling out to you but he got no answer back. Tom started to get irritated and a little aggravated yet under all of that he felt the slight tinge of panic run through him.
When he finally made it to your guys bedroom. He saw a letter sitting on the nicely made bed. He slowly walked over, picking up the piece of paper and reading it over.
You had actually left. When he thought you would just stay and deal with everything you actually packed your things up and left. The more he read the more aggravated he became. Yet he started to feel something else as he read it. There was a hint of regret and maybe remorse? Something he’s never felt before, but it was definitely there.
Once he finished reading the letter, he crumpled it in his hand frustrated and upset. He looked around the room seeing most of your stuff was gone yet you left jewelry and other things he had bought you.
“How could she do this?” He says to himself though deep down he knew he drove you away but he wouldn’t accept that. He drops the letter to the ground and strides out of the bedroom with determination grabbing his coat. No way he would let you leave. He was going to find you. He was Tom Riddle after all and he loved you., not only that but he had become obsessed with you. There would be no one else. He wouldn’t let you go no matter what.
