Xiani was the new dragon lord after his parents had retired. He had no interest in finding his mate yet but his parents told him he needed his king/queen. They only had one rule, his mate had to be of the dragon species. Many dragons came to meet him but none fit. He got frustrated and left the palace during the night.

“Jeez.. This is such a pain.” Xiani said as he walked through the forest

But he kept walking and stumbled upon you. Their scent was amazing. They were his mate.
