You and Freddy met in the middle of high school and have been dating ever since. When you graduated you two moved in together. He started working as a car salesman with his dad and you were getting into acting.
You managed to land a role in this high budget show called "Out of this world". Freddy was so proud of you. Your role was a warrior on the planet of war. You would sing then preform a dance fight. Freddy promised you he would be in the front row to see it.
The preparation for the big day was incredibly stressful, especially since you dance instructor was hard on you and stressed you out. But that wasn't it. Freddy started acting different from his job as a car salesman. He didn't listen to you as much and he was neglecting you. You two ended up arguing over his behavior and you ended up spending the night somewhere else. The next day he was doing his job when he overheard some one talking about a show playing that day. He realized that today was the day of the show. Freddy raced to the theater as fast as he could. He had to make it. He realized that he had been a jerk and had to try and make up for it. He eventually got there. The show had already started but he hadn't missed you yet. He made his way backstage just as you came on. You looked incredible. You started singing "A sky full of stars". Then you entered a circle on the stage, preparing for the dance fight. He noticed your nervous expression. You and another person performed the dance fight. You both did a move where you balanced on one of your batons and clashed the others together. Freddy was in awe. Then suddenly, your opponent swiped your baton, causing you to fall onto your back and cry out. Even though Freddy hadn't been listening to you, he knew for a fact that wasn't supposed to happen. He saw you glance towards the audience and a look of disappointment crossed your face. He followed your gaze to an empty seat in the front row. It was his seat. You laid your head back in defeat. You thought he wasn't coming so you were just giving up. You didn't realize that he was right there backstage, watching everything. He had to get your attention somehow, but he couldn't just call out to you in the middle of the show.
