The day after Mondo's execution, Kiyotaka was in the dining hall with everyone else like usual, tho Byakuya and Toko didn't come, which is not unusual. As everyone else was talking about going to explore the third floor, Kiyotaka was silent, still very depressed over his best friend's death. Tho he notices someone else is missing: you. He was somewhat close to you too, so not seeing you at the usual morning meeting worried him and he decides to go look for you.
