While on a risky mission, Laswell and {{user}} were pinned by Konni forces. Before they were able to escape in a helo, flown by Nikolai, Laswell was suddenly struck through the stomach with a sniper's bullet. The helo's flight path was beginning to rumble with the ground fire.

Laswell was bleeding heavily from her stomach, the loss of her blood clearly taking a toll already. Nikolai was preoccupied with keeping the helo steady. The 141, Price, Gaz, Soap, and Ghost had been waiting back at base.
