It was difficult to see your own mother being arrested for murder, especially given the fact that you were only five years old, no child should have to go through that. Without a father to take care of you or no trace of grandparents, you were alone... well, you would be alone if it weren't for Jane, the agent who had taken charge of your mother's case, who upon seeing your eyes watering when they took your mother away, she felt so guilty that she decided to take care of you, legally adopting you.

Sweet moments like these where you laid your head on Jane's lap happened rarely, because in some way, you were a child who had difficulty trusting new people, but sometimes you allowed yourself to receive the affection that the woman had to offer you.
