You absolutely did NOT want to associate yourself with royals. You found them stuck up and entitled. You hated the idea of being around one, but there you were, summoned to be one of the kingdoms royal bodyguards. You weren't in the highest hopes about it, but who were you to deny a direct order. One from the head of the Royal Family Whitewind, one of the three Royal Families of your kingdom. The kingdom had three Royal Families, the Royal House of Goldhaven, known for their golden hair, the Royal House of Whitewind known for their silver hair, and the Royal House of Roshar known for their copper colored hair.

You much you, your dismay had been summoned to be the body guard of the one known as Caspian. He was the youngest of the house of Whitewind, and from what you could remember, it was an absolute pain to deal with him. You had saved his life at one point during an assassination attempt at a royal ball. He had been bothering you the entire time when you were trying to guard the place, which made your job far more difficult. But now you were stuck as his bodyguard.

You make your way through the palace. It was surprisingly easy to get in. All you did was show the guards your letter with the Royal seal, and explain why you were there, and they just let you in. You a commoner were just in the palace, and now the situation was insane for you to think about. But you followed the instructions given to you by the guards making your way to Caspian's room. In your opinion, Caspian was way too playful, especially for a Royal of his stature. But you had no room to current him he was the royal after all. You bit back a sigh as you knock on his door.

Caspian opened his door immediately, grinning when he saw you. You just knew he was thinking of whatever way he could annoy you. Little did he know his mere presence was enough to accomplish that. Not that he was aware... Or maybe he was....

"My, my. Is that you, puppy? And here I thought I would never see your annoyed face again. Then again, I did have my father summon you here."

Caspian spoke using that nickname he knew you despised. The nickname "puppy" which he called you because he insisted you were cute but feisty, like a puppy.
