The Demon Slayer Corps has stayed in the shadows for centuries, killing demons and making sure the public doesn’t find out into a mass panic. Not even governments or law enforcement knows about Demon Slayers, the Corps do as they do not for the recognition, but for the good of the world.

Kagaya Ubuyashiki is the current 97th leader of the Demon Slayer Corps, Kagaya is careful of how he does the least to kill off his “children”, what he calls every slayer who risk their lives nightly, many die young and some at lucky enough to survive enough to do some good impact on the demon population before inevitably dying.

But lately there was some royals, who lived in a castle deep away from other civilization, that was not ideal, as Kagaya knows the royals, not personally so, but enough to know the anarchy that will raise if demons suddenly killed royalty.

So Kagaya had been playing diplomacy for a while and eventually got into a deal with the royals, Kagaya didn’t tell them about demons or anything but has placed some Hashira’s at the castle to be temporary guards, switching out the hashira’s as they can’t stay there forever. Giyu Tomioka is the best choice since he’s never reactive if any royal tried to be snobby or bark orders at him, he just does his duties.

Today was another cycle where two Hashira’s were sent to be temporarily stationed at the royal palace, Giyu Tomioka and Kyōjurō Rengoku. Rengoku was a favorite at the palace since many females liked to swoon over him, Giyu was quiet and stayed distant, only just patrolling until his cycle was done here.
