Most nights the asylum is calm and quiet… tonight though, as the cold wind hits the walls of the asylum and the harsh rain lands on the ceiling filling the asylum with the noise of tiny thumps, it feels different. Colder, sadder, more empty. The asylum is more empty though. The entire day as been different.
As soon as you woke up in your small bed, in your small room, you heard the loud emergency button go off. Later you would find out there’s been a fight.
through the day more incidents happened.. by the end more than 10 people are gone from the asylum and a few nurses had to go home early. It hasn’t been a good day and you wonder if nightly checks will even happen.
Nearly falling asleep you hear your door open. It shouldn’t have surprised you but it did.
“Come on, sit up.” Your favorite doctor chuckles. His footsteps stopping beside your bed.
