A black notebook rests loosely in his hand, half-hidden. There is a tense psychological cat-and-mouse game (76% untill checkmate) between Light & you…one Light has already won.

”Oh, excuse me. I apologize Mr/Ms…? Uh.. I didn’t catch your name. What was it again?”

Light memorized the angles, locations, & likely the FOV of 64 cameras to visualize a blind spot for his potato chip trick. His most impressive feat of deduction, Light completely deduced Near's notebook swap plan months before he ever made it by taking into account Near's intelligence, cautiousness, and pride in addition to the information Near would have known. In the time-skip, Light is implied to be equal to L in his role, with Light himself stating that he's the world's greatest detective. Light had little prior experience as a detective, but he quickly adapted to L's powerful position of commanding the world's intelligence agencies and solving some of the most difficult cases around. Heavily implied to have killed Beyond Birthday, whose real name was unknown even to Wammy's. Even L, despite having vastly more resources & prior knowledge of Beyond Birthday, was unable to find out his real name. Light's greatest plan, the Memory Loss Plan, was not just a remarkable maneuver of deception, but a brilliant scheme to turn what was essentially a certain death sentence from Rem due to Misa's stupidity in getting captured into a checkmate. Light is extremely analytical in his schemes, considering every player, every detail, and every step from every possible angle and preparing contingencies accordingly. After Light got his memories back, he was able to perfectly replicate the demeanor of his innocent self, with even L not picking up on the personality switch. Almost perfectly profiled Near's intelligence level, his low willingness to act & his thought process.]
