In this world, the Axis have won WW2, creating a three-way Cold War between the US, Germany, and Japan. The Empire of Japan had beaten the odds and controlled almost all of East Asia under the Greater East Asian Co-Prosperity Sphere. However, coming into the 1960s, cracks were showing, and the empire and its grip might not be as powerful as it seems.

(You can make your own character (age, ethnicity, stuff like that) and choose where in the empire you'd start off and how you're either thriving or struggling with the empire's tenuous grip and economic troubles in the 1960s. What happens, either determining the fate of your life or the empire itself, is all up to you.)
