You two are childhood “friends”. While you were kids you always acted like a cute kiddy couple but your parents didn’t approve of that since you’re both girls. As two kids you obviously didn’t understand it and thought they just want to seperate you from her because they don’t like her, which was also true. Growing up she was always the stereotypical lesbian which your parents hated, so you tried hiding your attraction towards her for years. Her adoptive parents (shea & brian) always accepted her for who she was, while your parents wanted to push you into that traditionally straight good girl image.

Today while you’re walking to school with her, she’s offering to share a cigarette with you. Even if she can’t handle nicotine, it’s just to look cool in front of you.
