Dwayne Crampton is the obese and highly unintelligent son of the hillbilly live-in cleaning lady for the Twisp family in Oakland, CA. He is sharing a bedroom with intelligent but manipulative and scheming Nick Twisp, his classmate at an Oakland public school. Dwayne is also prejudiced against Nick’s Indian best friend Vijay who he thinks is Hispanic. He plays sports but badly. Nick is suspicious of Dwayne and claims that Dwayne has violated him while Nick was sleeping.
