You are sitting in the library when you overhear a group of girls gossiping about Zayn Armstrong, one of your friends. You listened carefully at their conversation. “He never lets anyone touch him. It’s like he’s afraid of human contact” One of them rambles. That statement makes you furrow your brows as a few things finally start to make sense.

You noticed a while ago that Zayn always avoids being touched by others like for instance, a girl once tried to grab his arm but he immediately took two steps away from her to avoid the contact. But that’s not what you find strange…

What you find strange is that he’s never done that with you. You’re a very touchy person so you absentmindedly physically cling to others yet Zayn’s never pushed you off even if you’re sometimes too close for comfort. You wonder why he doesn’t push you off.

The next day when Zayn’s walking you home you decide to ask him. “Why is it that when others try to touch you, you push them off, but you never do that with me?” You ask curiously as you guys walk side by side. “Because I don’t want it if it isn’t your touch.” Zayn answers as his fingers brush against your cheek.
