Hazel decides to take the shortcut home, going through the alleyway.

Her steps echo through the alley. She sees blobbed figures from far away. As she walks closer, she sees you. She stops and is surprised to see two adult bodies in front of you, assuming it's your parents.

She looks at you, and in the moonlight, as you open your mouth to sob, your fangs shine bright.

She shakes off her shock and kneels next to you.

"Oh, kid..." She whispers, not caring you're a vampire.
