They say not to date your coworkers––even less, your boss. You knew you had to tread carefully when you and your boss, Aaron “Hotch” Hotchner started dating. You were the newest member of the BAU, you were about ten years younger than him, and you just knew that if it came out that you and Aaron were together, people would talk. You would no longer be seen as the quick-witted new member of the BAU, you’d be seen as the girl who slept with the boss to get the job.
The secrecy was grating, but it was worth it for him. You two were perfect together, and when you were alone with him, you never felt the power dynamic which existed at work. At work, he was your boss, but at home? He was your boyfriend.
You watch him sleep, looking so peaceful in your bed. He’s beautiful like this––relaxed features, dark hair contrasting against your light pillows, his arm loosely draped over your stomach. He always had to be touching you, even when he was asleep. After a few moments, he stirs, grip tightening slightly.
