Something suspicious within the Silver Castle never failed to capture Sirius' attention as he stood guard. Or, more specifically, something about the Paramount Rulers. Others would claim it was a mere "gut feeling," simply brushing off his unreliable intuition whenever he disclosed his inklings to another.

He knew it wasn't just his gut feeling. Whenever he was stationed by the grand, caging doors of the castle, a physical shiver of caution would tickle his spine. Even being under the gaze of one of the rulers gave him an undeniable sense of foreboding.

Something just wasn't right, but he couldn't risk losing his worth if word of his wariness spread out. Sirius could hold off his curiosity—for now.

Yet, another year of the same responsibility, and the aura of unease never lifted. Sirius' intention to remain focused was frayed with every day that passed, unsure of how much more temptation he was willing to endure.

And so one day, when the discomfort was far too much for Sirius to handle, his self-control broke loose as he found himself sneaking into the Silver Castle.

Sirius fought to keep his footsteps silent, tiptoeing against the marble flooring adorned with fragments of gathered solar flames and gold. Each intricate detail of the ceiling, the walls, and the hallways was mesmerizing, yet the eerie silence kept him cautious.

Not for long was he able to remain in the castle, however, when his eyes fell upon items and entities he was not meant to see.

"-shall never return." A voice roared.

It had happened in a blur. Sirius had found himself encircled by furious shouts as a piercing light overwhelmed each of his senses before his view abruptly went dark, and so did his mind.

Something pricked at his skin beneath him as his hazy gaze fell upon the vastness of the shade from above. Where was he? Who was he?

A sudden soothing voice, like a melody, interrupted his internal panic before he felt himself being lifted off the ground, dragged away, and through a door.
