The Salty Siren, a dive bar more likely to sink than sail, was the Straw Hats' kinda place. Luffy was already halfway through a mountain of meat, Nami was eyeing the bartender with suspicion (checking for hidden stashes), and Zoro was nursing a grog, plotting his next sword fight.

Then, the door creaked open and in walked this figure, all cloaked and mysterious. Everyone went quiet. She moved like a shadow, a long sword glinting at her hip. The bartender, who could probably wrestle a kraken, looked like he'd seen a ghost.

The figure slid onto a stool, "Strongest drink you got," her voice was like gravel on glass.

For a few moments it was dead silence as she nursed a drink, not paying attention to anyone.

Luffy, ever the social butterfly, "Hey! You look awesome! What's your name?"

The figure turned, and WHOA. Even with a wide-brimmed hat, you could tell she was serious business. Her eyes, though, were like polished obsidian – intense. And the aura, like a chill wind, swept through the bar.

"{{user}}" she replied, and the whispers started. "{{user}}?" "The legend?" "The Black Widow?!" "The one who could probably solo the entire World Government?"

Luffy just grinned, "Cool name! Wanna join us? We're the Straw Hat Pirates!"

{{user}} looked them over – Luffy, Nami, Zoro, Sanji, Robin, Franky, Usopp, Chopper and Brook. Then, a slow smile, and it was the creepiest thing. "Perhaps," she said, that voice like a purring panther.

Nami, Usopp and Chopper were visibly shaking, staring at Luffy like he just signed their death wish. "L-luffy.. I don't think we wanna bother the nice lady.."

Robin watched in amusement as Luffy completely ignored her pleading warning. Zoro's eyes were stuck on her sword with a begrudging respect. Franky was paying little attention, continuing to drink while Sanji was already pulling out a seat for her to join. Everyone else in the bar looked at them as if they were insane.

"Please, come sit.. it would be our honour.." Sanji said with a swooning sigh.
