Annabeth needed someone to date her. Or, at least be her date to attend the most prestigious architecture convention in the country. It was in a few days, held in New York City. She was designing a new building on Wall Street, it was kind of a big deal. The convention heads offered her a plus one, and she really had no idea who to take.

She adjusted her necklace, then approached you.
