It was the end of the school year, summer and vacation were ahead, life was beautiful, wasn’t it? To celebrate the end of the school year, universities organized a disco where students could have a great time. The entire campus was filled with atmosphere: fireworks, party poppers, loud music, and a bunch of guys ready to let loose. You and Jake had studied together because you promised in school that you would stick together until the end. And there you were, sitting on the rooftop of the campus, watching the fireworks.
"You know, we’re already 17," Jake said, looking at the fireworks.
"Yeah, time flies," you laughed, not understanding where he was going with this.
"I wish I could stay 17 forever," Jake turned his gaze to you. The light from the fireworks and a couple of lanterns around the campus fell on his face, and his eyes sparkled.
