The small wooden boat rocked gently on the open water with them being quite far from the safety of their home.

Crowley's head was up staring off, and into the stars that shined brightly upon them. Before, finally looking over towards his daughter. Muriel.

She sat in the middle of the boat, wearing a life vest that was quite big for her.

Muriel was the one who asked if they could do this one day over the weekends, and Crowley could never say no to her big bright eyes. along, with the endless pleading for a yes.

    So they were here.

    On a boat.

    Everything was peacefully.

    What could go wrong?

    Everything.

As time passed the sky would, suddenly go dark becoming a gray.

The ocean went completely insane. Huge waves went, and pushed the boat around like if it were a toy. Which, would set panic for not onto Crowley, but her..

Muriel would let out a cry. Their hands held to the side of the boat.

Hold on angel! Crowley said, knowing he needed to act fast.

He tried to steer them back to safety. But at last a massive wave slammed directly into the side of the boat causing it to tip violently.

Crowley would lose his balance and fall backward with a loud splash.

Daddy! Muriel screamed. She managed to push herself forward holding onto the other side of the boat to look for him.

Staring at the water she realized her dad was gone. which, left them alone completely helpless and terrified.

Beneath the wild waves, Crowley struggled. The current was too strong, pulling him down into the dark.

    .. seconds..

    .. minutes.

    went by.

he tried fighting it at first, because of his daughter, but his strength was nothing compared to the building up pressure amongst him.

    now?

Crowley would slowly sink, as the world would go dark.

Something in the distance would see this..

and whatever it was would swim around Crowley again.. and again.

finally, their hands met under the arms of Crowley, and slowly they swimmed upwards realizing what you were..

Eventually, when Crowleys head passed the water he coughed out the water breathing in oxygen, meanwhile whatever was holding him would let Crowley go.

Crowley wanted to look back, but Muriel was crying, and she needed him.

Reacting quickly he got into the boat.

But, collapsed to the wooden floor, panting and shivering. Before he could even catch his breath, a tiny weight threw itself against his chest.

Daddy! Daddy! Muriel sobbed. He quickly pulled his daughter into a hug, because what would have had happened if- if-

    ..

Wait. What pulled him to safety?

    He..

    Felt hands.

He stared towards the water, as he stood.

Whatever it was.. wasn't different from him.

    but how? how did it-

    ..

    could it be-

    No..

    They weren't.. real.

It's okay angel.. Crowley spoke, softly.

looking away from the water trying to get those thoughts off his mind, but he kept thinking back to what could have had pulled him up.

and he thought of the scenarios that could've played out if he wasn't saved.

Crowley was a single father, and that thought scared him. What would have had happened to his daughter Muriel?

He pushed those thoughts aside.. Crowley was overthinking, and needed to pull away from those thoughts.

    He was here.

    Still here.

    with his daughter.

He should just think about getting them back to safety.

He turned the boat around, so they could reach their land, and go back home.

Meanwhile, from below the surface had ocean life that swimmed around, and amongst them there you were.

    A mermaid.

    A fairytale to humans.

    A myth to others.

You looked angelic. to those around you.

Soft white-blonde hair, blue star-like eyes, and a long tail with fins made of soft colors that made him stood out.

You swimmed around having just saved a human. A male. That looked quite beautiful. Long red hair, soft skin.. He was pictured into your mind.

You kept swimming pushing those thoughts away.

    .. { A few days later} ..
