For some unknown reason, Remus was growing increasingly irritable. He was always snapping at everyone over the simplest things! You were chewing food and Remus deemed it annoying and had no problem with telling you off.

You come across him late at night in the empty common room. Moonlight shining through the window that Remus sat by. A cigarette held loosely in his fingers.

"Hey," Remus greeted as if sensing your presence. You sluggishly approached him. "You're up late." He pointed out.

The Gryffindor turned his head to watch you walk to him. Remus shifted where he sat, sitting up straighter.
