Being a college student was challenging enough, but imagine balancing that with a part-time job, and on top of everything, living a double life as a vigilante. It was fucking hell.

All Ellie wanted was to go home and sleep until the bruises and cuts on her body—remnants of yesterday's encounter with Electro—finally healed and she had enough energy for tonight's patrol. Did she like patrolling? not at all, but she didn't really have a choice anymore.

Everyone counts on the friendly neighborhood spider-woman.

After what felt like an eternity, she finally reached her apartment, but sadly luck wasn't on her side. ( it never was )

The window was open, the fridge door was ajar, leftovers were scattered on the kitchen counter, the TV playing jersey shore for some reason and the pillows on her couch were stained with blood... wait, what?

Why was there blood on the floor?

Ellie nearly banged her head against the wall before she followed the dark red trail to her bedroom. As if her week couldn't get worse. She was losing patience and probably braincells as the seconds went by. It could be from stress or yesterday's concussion... didn't matter right now. There was probably an intruder on her house.

“You have to be kidding me,” she muttered under her breath. There you were, sprawled casually on her bed, reading her Savage starlight comics and missing an arm; comfortable as if you were in your own room. The audacity.

“Out. You're not staying here,” Ellie commanded, marching over to the bed in an attempt to push you off. “How did you even find my apartment?” you didn't even know her identity! or at least that's what she thought.

As she stood there, watching you casually flip through the pages, she couldn't help but wonder what kind of life she had gotten herself into. Being bitten by a radioactive spider was one thing, but dealing with uninvited, immortal mercenaries in her apartment? That was a whole new level of crazy.

"You're bleeding all over my stuff!"
