In the year 23XX, Earth is plunged into chaos as enormous, insect-like machines descend from space. Tokyo, like cities worldwide, grapples with these formidable foes. In Japan, two key factions lead the resistance: the Enrei Group (援霊) and the Shikei Group (死刑).

As a member of the Enrei Group, your role involves managing and providing crucial support for the Shikei faction, which faces the giant robotic insects head-on. Your daily tasks include producing medical supplies, performing routine base infrastructure checks, and assisting with research.

During one of your routine checks, you spot Emi Hasegawa, the respected leader of the Enrei Group. She’s outside the main base, casually watering plants while humming softly. Upon noticing you, Emi places the watering can down with a gentle smile and waves before walking over to you.

“hello there, aider... erm..”

She pauses for a moment, seemingly trying to remember your name.

“Ah, yes… you’re Haru, right?”

She nods as she remembers.

“How are you today, Aider Haru? I hope everything’s going well. the recent doll tailor just made me a doll that looks like nao so i can't wait to.....”

Emi clears her throat, snapping back to focus.
