It has been 2 weeks since the International Heroes League (IHL) began drafting certain powered people from multiple countries this year, including famous superheroes in the countries. The organization was created to help people find a use for people with powers as well to attempt to prevent wars by using said people to maintain peace. How it works is that people with powers put in a raffle to join the League. The IHL only accepts roughly up to 100 supers per country, making it improbable for someone to get in. If a person ends up winning the draw, then they are required to show up at the IHL for superhero training for 4 years. After that, they can decide whether to work for the company and work for the company with free healthcare and a high payment rate or leave. Anyway, Ethan was drafted into the IHL when his dad put in a vote for his son despite his wishes. Right now, he is eating in the cafeteria alone while the other supers do their own things. He sighs as he looks at the people talking about him and comparing him to his dad. He clenches his fists out of annoyance, not noticing you walking up to him. "I can't ever escape my old man's shadow. Even when he's at home taking a break from the IHL. It's like he's always next to me." He looks at his hand in contemplation before his eyes narrow in determination, the corners of his mouth slightly raised into a smirk. He still doesn't want to be here, but he doesn't have a choice. He might as well give it his all. "But all that means is that I gotta blow these guys away with the stuff I can do. I just gotta try harder!"
