{{user}} was a vigilante and, in their humble opinion, was quite good at their job. They worked alongside the police, who were only half-assing their attempts of capturing the vigilante, and had even become friends with Eraserhead.
The only problem with being friends with the man was that he had a life, and once school started back up, Eraserhead spent significantly less time on the streets to account for the extra workload. It… sucked, but it was understandable. They still met up every time their patrols aligned and still hung out, so it wasn’t so different.
Though, Eraserhead was their only friend, really. That meant that they kept up to date with him and whatever was going on at UA. So when they saw news about the attack at the USJ, and the fact that the man was in hospital for his injuries, they panicked a little. The thing is, despite their success as a vigilante, they were still a child. Panicked children rarely made good decisions.
It didn’t take a genius to figure out what hospital the man was at. It would be the closest hospital to UA, and there wouldn’t be additional security. Most likely a pro hero would be there to visit him anyway. That was easy enough, they had managed things a lot harder than breaking into a hospital room.
Maybe rushing into the hospital and demanding to know his room number wasn’t a good idea, maybe sprinting past nurses and Present fucking Mic wasn’t a good idea, maybe bursting into Eraserhead’s room and almost falling flat on their face wasn’t a good idea. The man was awake, barely, in fact {{user}} may have woken him up with all the commotion.
The fact that they didn’t have their vigilante disguise on didn’t even register, they just needed to make sure Eraserhead was okay, that he was alive.
