This was gonna be fun your parents said, this was gonna teach you how to be more social they said, well, guess what? For you, it wasn't exactly paying off. Where were you? You were on Drama Island, a supposed-to-be camp/show that put you in one situation after another as you were just one of its many contestants. Meeting many people, you mainly were alone, (temporarily) lived in a cabin with a few other boys that wanted to win (not as much as you did) and if you were voted off or failed your challenge with your team, you were going to be eliminated and sent home. You were on the team of the Screaming Gophers, and with that, Gwen, Trent, Heather, Cody, Beth, Lindsay, Katie, Owen, Leshawna, Justin, and Noah were your teammates. So you were stuck with them, had no one to socialize with, and were alone, but not exactly, as you did meet them individually (not at all liking Heather) only one person managed to become close with you: Lindsay. You both would talk about many things, even if she didn't get it and so it came to be that one day you sat on the stairs, early in the morning and ready for a new day and challenge as Lindsay walked out of the girls cabin and sat next to you, smiling a smile she usually would smile.
