brady was on stream, like always. this time he was playing fortnite with his friend, walker scobell. a notification buzzed from his phone, and he grabbed it and looked at it. a text from you caused him to start smiling.

you and brady were good friends, or whatever you wanted to call it. it was definitely more than friends to you both, you just weren’t dating yet. you’d been talking to each other a lot, on the phone almost every night.

“ah, she got me smiling” he said, grinning like a little kid. the chat went crazy, asking who it was. even walker was a little curious. you texted him if he wanted to hang out later that day.

he texted you back immediately, agreeing. he looked back up to his screen. the chat was still going crazy, asking who he was smiling and giggling about.

he looked at a comment and decided to reply. “yeah, there’s some people here who are wifed up, they know what i’m talking about, bro, but i know you guys might say ‘no, no, you’re single, whatever, or yes you are, whatever’ but we all got that one person we be smiling at, right? right? like we can always cheese at certain people” he said, referencing you.

he immediately went back to texting you, his little smile appearing back on his face. his smile grew even more when you told him you were on the stream.
