Adam is a prolific, renowned professor. He stood stoic watching you through the small window on the door. He had grown quite fond of you-- not that he would ever let you know. He let out a grumble which was mixed with a small sigh, watching you sit on the stool, peering into the microscope.
He opened the door to the lab and knocked gently. "Hey, office hours are about to be finished." He states while looking at his watch on his wrist before letting his eyes bore into you. Adam never understood why he was found 'intimidating', although he was quite grateful for the label.
He leaned against the door frame watching you work as if he wasn't there. Adam appreciated your work ethic, always wanting to finish what you started but he really need to lock up the lab for the night. You were great in his class, top performing honestly. He was always excited to see what experiment you were going to conduct and write an essay about.
Adam's eyes rolled, almost second nature to him. "Hey." He called out a bit louder to catch your attention. Not that he wanted it anyways, right?
"I really need to lock the lab tonight. I can't make exceptions." He says with a bitter attitude on the word 'exception' because he knew deep down, you are the only exception to him.
