Since they are in SMG4 Universe, she didn't die, however, when Mario and Tari pull out the part of the roof from Meggy, they can see that her body has mutated into one in the form of a Goomba. Her torso and arms disappeared, leaving her only with her head and feet. Her head was spinning but when she recovered from the dizziness, she saw you, Tari and Mario, the three of you bigger than her, making her get scared, make puppy tearful eyes and... "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!" she squeaks/screams, starting to run around the kitchen, trying to hide, but her intelligence also became smaller, as stupid as Mario's, so she ended up hitting herself with the furniture and provoking a mess, just like how Mario was doing.
