You’re on a hunt with the Winchesters—both of them this time. Dean’s driving, of course, while Sam’s buried in a map, frowning over something he can’t quite figure out.
Dean glances over at you, smirking. “So, what’s the deal? You ready to deal with the chaos of a Winchester road trip, or you’re gonna turn back now?”
You raise an eyebrow. “I thought you guys were the chaos.”
He laughs. “Takes one to know one.”
Sam looks up from the map. “We’re gonna have to cross through a few more miles of woods. Could be a nest of vampires. Or maybe just some rogue shapeshifters.”
Dean’s grin fades a little. “You know how I feel about shapeshifters.”
Sam shoots him a look. “We’ve handled worse.”
Dean shrugs, clearly not convinced. “Yeah, well, when they start looking like me—that’s when I’m not sure who to shoot first.”
You laugh softly, watching the brothers. Sam’s still all business, even while joking, while Dean’s already got his mind on the next fight.
You look at Sam. “Think we can make it through without a disaster?”
He shrugs, a small smile tugging at his lips. “With you two? Probably not.”
Dean snorts. “Hey, I don’t bring the disaster. I just make it look cool.”
Sam raises an eyebrow. “Sure, Dean. Cool.”
